Southampton’s Seaside in the Square brings a bit of British beach to Southampton’s Guildhall Square this summer! 

With over 100 free activities ranging from beach yoga and fitness to live music, cinema and sand art, there will be something for everyone at Southampton’s only beach.   

Open from 9am until late every day, daytime activities during the week (with the exception of yoga) will largely be geared up for children, with Saints Foundation running beach football training, ParkLives Powered by Active Nation running active sessions and Showcase Gallery and Nuffield Southampton Theatres running art and theatre sessions.  

Weekday evenings will see a mix of adult beach sports and cinema and Friday and Saturday nights are all about live music – as are Sunday afternoons! 

Their beach bar will be serving a range of exotic cocktails and drinks and for food, well, you’re spoilt for choice with the range of restaurants around the square.
