The Breeze Through the NightBasingstoke Breast Cancer Self Help Group
This group was formed by Angela Bennett, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer and 2013 is the 10th Anniversary.
There is a wide range of ages from 35 to 79 years.
Newly diagnosed ladies are helped and encouraged by members who have already had various treatments and therefore can listen, sympathize and support them through every step on their way to recovery. Some of the funds raised are given to help with transport costs etc for ladies having treatment. The Group has donated to St Michaels Hospice; the DTC Unit.
